What is a VIN number?
The VIN number or Vehicle Identification Number, also known as a chassis number, uniquely identifies your vehicle.

Where do I find my VIN number?
On most motorcycles it is located on the right-hand side of the frame steering stem. On scooters it may be located under a removable cover or stamped on a metal plate fixed to a frame member. Please refer to your Owner's Manual for exact location. You will also find the VIN number on your V5 registration document. Click here for a model specific list of VIN locations.
